Navaho Weaving By Charles Avery Amsden. The first Edition published by The Fine Arts Press, Snta Ana, California in cooperation with The Southwest Museum 1934. A definitive book on Navajo Weaving Its Technic And History. 261 pages with drawings and photographs all in very good condition. A large fold out image of the Chief White Antelope blanket usually accompanies this first edition and is available. The previous owner of this book took it out and had it framed. It can be unframed or shipped framed.
Collecting Southwestern Native American Jewelry by Mark Bahti. A 148 page book filled with historic information and beautiful photographs by the founder and past president of The Indian Arts & Crafts Association. Published in 1980. The cover is slightly scuffed but the interior of this book is perfect.
Navaho Weaving, Its Techic and its history, by Charles Avery Amsden a first edition of the reprint by the Rio Grande Press, Inc. in 1964. 261 pages includes the large fold out of the Chief White Antelope blanket. There is a slight tear near the top of the spine, otherwise this book is in very good condition with a tight binding and no marks throughout.
